States Most Impacted by Winter Storm Uri Damage
Winter Storm Uri, also known as February 13–17, 2021 North American winter storm, pummeled the United States with blizzard conditions, severe ice, large hail, tornadoes and extreme freezing temperatures.
The storm developed in the Pacific Northwest, then traveled southeast across the country (even yielding snow in Galveston, Texas) barreling across the midwest and south before turning north along the East Coast.
The storm generated multiple all-time low temperature records and crushed areas of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona and New Mexico.
Disruption to the power grid caused rolling blackout conditions in at least a dozen states, which amplified problems with freezing pipes that burst and flooded building interiors.
RestoreMasters emergency crews are working in states most affected by the storm to help property dry out and recover from this devastating storm.
