States Most Impacted by Winter Storm Viola Damage
Winter Storm Viola, also known as February 15-20, 2021 North American winter storm, pummeled the United States with blizzard conditions, severe ice and extreme freezing temperatures.
Following on the heels of Winter Storm Uri earlier in the week, Viola followed a similar path through Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, then through Alabama, Virgina, West Virginia and up the East Coast.
The storm generated record snowfalls with Del Rio, Texas seeing 9 inches. Areas south of Little Rock, Arkansas saw a whopping 15 inches of snow.
Disruption to the power grid caused rolling blackout conditions in at least a dozen states, which amplified problems with freezing pipes that burst and flooded building interiors.
RestoreMasters emergency crews are working in states most affected by the storm to help property dry out and recover from this devastating storm.
